The 3rd AEARU Medical Center Forum” Held At Fudan University to Boost International Collaboration

The forum was held at Fudan Univeristy on 20th November, 2015 in Shanghai, P.R. China a joint efforts were make by Shanghai Medical College, Fudan and Foreign Affair of Fudan for organizing, It aims to shore up a long term  partnerships among AEARU Universities whilst a theme therefore was focused on“Open a New Era for International Collaboration among Medical Centers at AEARU Universities” . 6 keynote speeches were presented attacted  a turnout of over 60, most of them came from the Peking University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Traditional Medicine, Tokyo University, and Melbourne University with the professiobackground either in the medical education and research administration or international collaboration.

For over 20-year history, AEARU serves as an advocator for the promotion of original research and continuous improvement of higher education. The endeavors, the devotion, the synergy which bring to the role contribute to innovation process and social progress in science, culture, economy of the region. As a major University of the AEARU, it is the first time for Fudan to organize this year forum under support of AEARU and the secretariat at Nanjing University.

Prof. Yonghao Gui, Vice President of Fudan University, Dean of Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University delivered his warmest welcome remarks and Dr. Chouwen Zhu, Director of Foreign Affair Office, Fudan University undertook the host.by the courtesy of 6 invited speakers, whose presentations made the forum attractive and productive with a face-to face discussion interacted between speakers and participants, by sharing each other insights into medical education and research and healthcare, their topics covered the elite medical students training, international joint research institute, international collaborative research platform, medical big data, precision medicine and novel program in Nursing and Public Health.
