The annual China's State Science and Technology Awards ceremony was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Jan 8, 2016. Fudan University clinched 4 prizes, including 2 Natural Science Prizes and 2 Sci-tech Progress Prizes.
Two Natural Science Prizes went to Prof. Feng Donglai's team at Department of Physics and Prof. Jin Li's team at School of Life Sciences respectively. Their research findings aim at the international frontier and receive well recognition from home and abroad. Two Sci-tech Progress Prizes went to Prof. Gen Daoying's team at Huashan Hospital and Prof. Qin Xinyu's team at Zhongshan Hospital. After having been promoted among tens of domestic hospitals, their research findings do great benefits to life-saving and medical treatment.
